The Litigation Team at BATEMAN SEIDEL consists of Greg Miner, and Travis Hall who, collectively, have decades of experience in the state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington.
Greg Miner, a founding shareholder of the firm and former partner in two major Northwest law firms, has 37 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts in a number of jurisdictions, including Oregon and Washington.
Travis Hall, a former Army Judge Advocate, is also a shareholder and has practiced law for 17 years, 10 of which as a trial attorney with Bateman Seidel.
Our Litigation Practice involves both prosecuting and defending damages claims in business, real estate, commercial, construction, contract, trust and probate, personal injury, property damage, landlord-tenant, and employment matters, whether complex disputes with multiple parties or streamlined smaller claims.
We represent individuals, families, small and medium size businesses, partnerships, public entities, and large regional and national corporations in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations and mediations, administrative hearings, contested case proceedings, and appeals.
OUR APPROACH
Litigation can be costly and time consuming, but often is necessary to bring resolution and finality to disputes. Our practice is to provide client-focused advocacy by determining the client’s needs and desired results at the outset. We provide the client with an early assessment of the litigation issues, risks, and possible outcomes, as well as an estimate of anticipated costs and attorney fees. Clear communication with clients at the outset about the litigation, the issues involved, the upcoming risks, the various work tasks needed and their associated cost, is an essential part of the successful representation of a client. Our commitment to this approach continues during our service to the client and representation in the litigation.
