Chris is a shareholder whose practice focuses on real estate and the financing and development of multi-family residential housing, with an emphasis on Section 42 low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) transactions. Additionally, Chris represents various owners, syndicators, investors and developers in connection with the disposition of partnership interests and fee interests in various affordable housing projects across the United States. During law school Chris was the Technology Editor of the Willamette Law Review in Salem, Oregon and worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice. Prior to joining Bateman Seidel, Chris spent his first two years of practice in the Portland office of Preston Gates & Ellis LLP. Chris received his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law and is admitted to the Oregon Bar.
