Amanda is an associate practicing litigation primarily focusing on business, commercial, and real estate disputes. Amanda’s legal education began in high school and continued through college when she worked at Marion County Circuit Court in Salem, Oregon. Prior to joining Bateman Seidel, Amanda participated in the civil litigation clinic of the Student Law Office at University of Denver Sturm College of Law. There, she represented clients in wage disputes and clients seeking civil protective orders. She also served as the Marketing Editor for the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. Amanda is a member of Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) law fraternity and sat as Justice of PAD’s Hughes Chapter during her third year of law school. Amanda also worked as a research assistant during law school where she investigated the effects of the “maternal wall” and the “Opt-Out Revolution” on women in the legal community. Through her work at Marion County Circuit Court, the Student Law Office, and volunteering with Legal Aid Services of Oregon’s Domestic Violence Project, Amanda also has extensive experience representing individuals in obtaining Family Abuse Prevention Act (FAPA) restraining orders.
